No Sex For You!!

Why is it that we can’t get the sex of our baby? Why is it that every other pregnant couple we meet can find out the sex of the baby, and we can’t? This is our third baby, and for the third time we have been denied. How am I suppose to come up with baby names now? How am I suppose to register a domain name without knowing the sex and thus name of the baby?

Now we’ll have to come up with 2 names, one for a boy, one for a girl. That’s double the work.

I’ve received some comments saying how terrible my names were. I’ll have to disagree on that. I’ve come up with a few more boys and girls name. You can vote on which is the best!

Closet Dweller

We’re going to Louisville in May for General Council. We booked a suite for the week, and it was assumed by both Yvonne and I that Caleb would be getting the bedroom and we would be sleeping in the living room.

But why does it have to be that way? Yes, Caleb is a very light sleeper and he is easily disturb. We can’t go walking around in his area of sleep after he’s down. We don’t want to be stuck where we are at (bedroom) after he’s asleep with no access to the bathroom or exit.

Question is… can Caleb sleep in the closet?

Now at first thought, that’s absurd, right? What parents in their right mind would put their son to sleep in the closet? But he gets his dark sleeping area. He won’t get disturbed by light, sounds and movement. He’s much smaller than us, but he still gets his own room. I mean we’ll lose some storage area, but that closet would be put to good use!

So, you choose.

So Now What?

For those of you who don’t know, we didn’t find out what the sex of the baby was last Friday.  Just like Caleb, Caris/Carlos just didn’t want us to see between her/his legs.  So we’ll have to wait til 30 weeks to get another ultrasound to see if we can see the sex of the baby.  Yvonne was working at the hospital with Caleb so she could use her hookups to get an ultrasound every week until we found out Caleb was a boy.  Those hookups now are gone.  So we must wait.

So the next natural question is should we find what the sex of the baby is?  We’ll have to start getting the baby’s room ready soon.  So that means we’ll probably decorate it neutral colors.  After that, we don’t exactly need to know what the baby is.  It’s just that we hate surprises.  It would be fun see once the baby pops out with a penis or not.  I should record it.

On another note, Caleb has a cold again.  Third time in 6 weeks that he’s sick.  Sigh.  He seems to be handling this cold better this time.  He still slept through the night last night.  The night before wasn’t so good, but it was much better than we expected considering he’s snorting and coughing throughout the night.

We’ve been slacking on the pictures. We haven’t taken much the past month, although he’s been learning so much.  I promise to put more up.  It’s coming!

Caris or Carlos?

Next Friday we will be getting our high level ultrasound. That means we’ll find out the sex of the baby, unless the groin area view is blocked like Caleb liked blocking it.

So what will we have? A boy? Or a girl?
